About the Event

You have told us that arranging finance for projects is a real challenge, and with limited opportunities to access grant funding, the need to consider all possible routes to funding your project becomes more necessary. This online event will look at different approaches to funding including:

• Investment – for example, from public authorities and social investors – facilitated by Dinah Roake, Community Led Housing London (unconfirmed)
• Partnership arrangements – working with different kinds of developers to gain access to capital – facilitated by Tom Moore, University of Liverpool (confirmed)
• Individual and community funding – such as community shares and crowdfunding – facilitated by Josh Lawson & Andy Lloyd, Leeds Community Homes (confirmed)

The event is designed so that you can listen to speakers, then have a more intimate conversation with them in breakout rooms. Our aim is to give you the chance to talk through options and to identify challenges and solutions – for your own project and for the sector as a whole.
